Can I be transferred to another location?
DOL and INS have issued inconsistent opinions on this issue. One was saying, a
new or amended petition is not needed when the person is transferred from one location of
a firm to another location of the same firm. Another was saying: changing locations
for the same employer requires an amended petition. Later, INS and DOL comments
indicated that if a new LCA is not needed, an amended petition is not required.
