B visa is nonimmigrant visa for any foreigners who want to visit the United States either for business or for pleasure.  B-1 is issued for business visitors, B-2 for pleasure visitors. 

Most visitors are B-2 visa holders who can stay in this country for up to six months for the initial issuance.  But they may get another six months extension.  The extension application may be rejected for no reason.  But almost all B visa extension applications filed from this office have been approved.
