| On the American Immigration Lawyers Association
2005 Annual Conference that was held in Salt Lake City from June 22 to
June 25, an official from U.S. Department of Labor disclosed to the
audience that the PERM system continues to issue certifications to the
applications and the system even certified the application within 24 hours
of filing!
"Could it be so fast?!" I asked another attorney sitting next
to me. He shaked his head and replied: "I cannot believe
it!" We could feel other audience had the same doubt about the news.
When I went through the PERM approvals yesterday, I was very surprised
to see one of my PERM approvals was exactly as the US DOL official said:
it was certified in ONE day (within 24 hours). I am delighted to
