Can my child be possibly taken away later on?

No. Your child’s birth parent cannot take him or her back. Your child’s birth country cannot take him or her back. He or she automatically become a citizen of the United States once he or she enters the United States. This is a new law passed by US Congress in 2000.  Before this new law, the United States may deport him or her later on in his or her life if you failed to take care of legal paperwork or he or she commits deportable offenses. So scaring?!
