Who can apply for National Interest Waiver?

National Interest Waiver is for aliens with either: (1) an advanced degree or its equivalent in professional fields; or (2) exceptional ability in the sciences, arts or business. A job offer is usually required for petitions in this category, unless the INS waives that requirement "in the national interest."
