| To apply for employment-based green card,
most engineering professionals generally go through the labor
certification process. |

| Some engineering professionals are qualified
for extraordinary
ability (but not many), outstanding
researcher (if they are doing research) or
national interest
waiver (if their work is in the national interest). |

| If an engineer is hired as a college
professor teaching in any engineering subjects or related field, we can get him/her a
green card through "special handling", too. |

| The term "Engineer" is a very
general term which includes any learned people who apply science to
design/maintenance/repair of machines, engines, software programs, bridges, roads, railways,
docks, etc. Although most engineers use the similar ways to get green card, there
