State employment agencies role in the new PERM process

What is the role of the State employment agencies in the new PERM process?

State employment offices or State Workforce Agencies (SWAs) will no longer participate in the labor certification process. All new filings will be managed by two regional US Department of Labor offices. SWAs will still have responsibility for managing prevailing wage determinations.
