This program was established for persons from countries with low rates of immigration to the United States.  You may NOT participate in the program if you were born in one of the following countries:

     Canada, China (except Hong Kong S.A.R. and Macau, S.A.R.), Colombia, Dominican Republic, El Salvador, Haiti, India, Jamaica, Mexico, the Philippines, Poland, South Korea, United Kingdom (except Northern Ireland) and its dependent territories, and Vietnam.

    Natives of above countries were not eligible to participate in the year 2003 lottery.  This list may be different each year.  Visit our website often to keep yourself updated.
